Eindeloze witte zandstranden, reservaten vol tropische vogels en koraalriffen die je dwars door het heldere water tegemoet schitteren: welkom op de Contoy en Mujeres eilanden. En met de boot hop je er zó naartoe vanuit Cancun. Lekker een dag lang snorkelen, zonnen en dieren spotten.

Voordat je aan boord gaat in Marina Azul, krijg je een continentaal ontbijt voorgeschoteld. Klaar om een dag lang te ontdekken? Dan gaan we over de golven richting Isla Contoy. Onderweg stoppen we bij een van de mooiste riffen in Mexico om te snorkelen. Eenmaal op het eiland gaat de gids voorop en laat je zien waar de 152 vogelsoorten zich schuilhouden in dit beschermde ecoreservaat. Hou je ogen ook open voor schildpadden, pijlstaartroggen en ander tropisch moois.

Na het lunchbuffet en wat relax-tijd, varen we richting Isla Mujeres. Dit is nou zo'n typisch Caribisch eiland met smetteloze stranden. Verken het eiland op je gemak, wandel door de stad, snorkel of relax op een van de ongerepte stranden.
