Als je een mooi kleurtje wil en eens iets anders wil proberen, is deze trip naar een hammam of Turks bad zeker iets voor jou. Hammams bestaan al sinds de oudheid in Turkije en bieden de locals een manier om te ontspannen en zich op te frissen. Ze zijn ook briljant voor een peeling van je huid. Zo blijft je bruine kleurtje nog langer zitten.

Je gaat naar een van de beste hammams. Hier trek je in een aparte ruimte je zwemkleding aan en wikkel je je in een handdoek. Dan stap je de hammam zelf in: een vochtige, marmeren kamer met een 'gobektasi', een verwarmde stenen plaat in het midden. Je voelt de spanning uit je lichaam trekken en je huid zachter worden. Je poriën openen zich en je zweet alle afvalstoffen eruit.

Vervolgens lig je op de 'gobektasi', waar je wordt getrakteerd op een zeezout lichaamsscrub. Al snel lig je in zachte, zeepachtige belletjes en een gezichtsmasker. Daarna ontspan je nog meer met een oliemassage en vers fruit die je een positieve gloed geeft. De perfecte manier om je vakantie te beginnen.
