Gelegen in het centrum, omlijst door de karakteristieke muurschilderingen die de straten beschilderen, kan het museum bogen op ongeveer twee eeuwen (de laatste gegevens verwijzen naar 1848). Het is intact gebleven in zijn schoonheid en typerend voor de gebouwen uit die tijd. Het museum herbergt de oude gebruiksvoorwerpen die werden gebruikt bij de productie van het typische brood van Orgosolo: "Su Pane Tostu" (Carasau-brood) en "s'ispianada" (de esplanade). U zult uw hand proberen aan een educatieve activiteit waarbij u letterlijk uw "handen in het deeg" zult moeten steken om technieken en geheimen van het broodmaken in al zijn fasen te leren. Het museum is ook gezegend met een korte film met in de hoofdrol drie oudere Orgolese vrouwen. Tot slot, ter bevestiging van de belangrijkste schenking van de Orgolesi, namelijk de gastvrijheid pro s'istranzu (gast-buitenlander), zult u genieten van een heerlijke proeverij van het typische brood vergezeld door een uitstekende kaas geproduceerd door de lokale herders en een glas lokale "cannonau"-wijn.
