Reis terug in de tijd naar de voormalige Romeinse stad Évora, sinds 1986 een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie, met Romeinse, Visigotische, islamitische en Portugese invloeden.

In Évora kruist de geschiedenis je op elke hoek, want het is een grote puzzel van historische monumenten van meer dan 1000 jaar oud. De wandeltocht begint bij de kerk van São Francisco en de Bones-kapel, een van de must-see plekken.

Naast het middeleeuwse hart van de stad vind je de grootste kathedraal van Portugal en ook enkele antieke getuigenissen zoals de Romeinse tempel en de Romeinse baden.
