The Cap'n and his merry crew have hidden their loot on Lobos Island – now you and the kids have to find it before the Cap'n can. Taking place on an uninhabited island north of Fuerteventura, this treasure hunt is all about fun and games – with a pirate twist. Fran, one of our expert local guides, says ‘I'm a dad myself, and my kids love a treasure hunt. This tour is a win-win because, not only do the little ones have tonnes of fun, but they also get to learn about Fuerteventura's volcanic evolution and its vast ecosystem.'
You'll climb aboard the glass-bottomed Celia Cruz in Corralejo, from where we'll glide over to the protected islet of Lobos. Its unspoilt volcanic landscapes and idyllic waters make the place an ecological treasure. After a short stroll to the crescent-shaped La Concha beach, the adventure really begins. A friendly pirate will greet the kids on arrival, before guiding them to the whereabouts of the hidden treasure.
It's up to the smallest family members to hunt down the treasure with their new friends. They'll be entertained with pirate-themed games while you take in the wild surroundings of this nature reserve. After all the fun and games, there's a picnic on the beach. And no visit to the island is complete without a selfie on the small wooden jetty of Puertito de Lobos. Sticking out a few metres into the bay and surrounded by fluorescent waters, it's hands down the island's most Instagrammable spot. A great morning out for the whole family.
