Discover the Medina of Taroudant, known as the Grandmother of Marrakech. Taroudant offers a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination to experience the charm of Morocco.

Get a complimentary pickup from your accommodation in Agadir or Taghazout and set off towards Taroudant City, taking in views of the local villages on the way. Once you arrive at the Medina, explore the city, encircled by well-preserved ramparts that stretch for about 6 to 8 kilometres. The walls and gates are a testament to the city’s historical importance and provide a picturesque backdrop to the Medina.

Then it's off to explore the labyrinthine Souks of the teeming shopping district, where you'll pick up a bargain on locally produced artisanal goods – but don't forget to haggle. In the Souks you'll find a variety of goods, from spices and textiles to traditional crafts and jewellery. These souks offer a glimpse into local life.

Complete your experience by visiting a local cooperative to see the traditional methods of extracting argan oil.

After lunch in the opulent surroundings of a riad, you'll visit Ben Youssef Madrasa and then venture into the maze of souks for a guided tour around the medina. As part of this tour, we offer a shopping stop, where you can indulge in the city's vibrant shopping scene. This is an optional stop and can be customized to your preferences.Next up is the pulsating Jemaa el-Fnaa square – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The life and soul of the city, you'll have free time to explore, shop, sample some street food, or just soak up the atmosphere of this bustling area. We round off with a dinner show featuring traditional dance and music. Then there's free time or the chance to explore the nighttime excitement of Jemaa el-Fnaa with your guide.
